Lauren Ash Morgan is co-founder and artistic director of Speech of Fire, a brand new company in the field of theatre. From 2014 to 2019, she served as artistic director of Seoul Shakespeare Company. The actress also worked for the SSC as producer as well as a costume/set design composer/music director, and text-coach in addition to serving as Artistic Director. The last year of her tenure, she was a director and lighting designer in SSC's production of King Lear. She had been directing from the ensemble but in this last year made her directorial debut. Post she got married to Stephen Knox in the past. Michael A. Ross has been her husband and co-writer from 1982. They have two daughters. A wonderful actress and the perfect mother and wife.
