Anne Dudek

Anne Louise Dudek is an American actress from America. She is well known for portraying Tiffany Wilson on the 2004 comedy White Chicks Danielle Brooks as Dr. Amber Volakis from Fox House. She also played Lura Grant in HBO's Big Love series and Francine Hanson on the AMC show Mad Men. Anne Dudek has gained fame as an American actress who played Tiffany Wilson in White Chicks the 2004 comedic film. Her television appearances are Dr. Amber Volakis, in Fox's House sitcom; Danielle Brookson, in USA Network drama Covert Affairs; and Lura Gran in HBO Drama Big Love. Dudek is from Massachusetts and went to Northwestern University. Her first part as an actor was on stage in The Iphigenia Cycle, a show at the University. This was an off-Broadway production, located in New York City. There she won the Joseph E. CALLOWAY award for her amazing performances. American Theater Magazine featured her among the top ten best young theatre performers to follow. Dudek ended up landing performances on television as well as the large screen. Matthew Heller, the talented actor and mother-of-two behind a camera, was her husband from 2007 to 2016. Dudek was conceived in Boston Massachusetts in 1975 and born in Newton. She was an undergraduate at Northwestern University in her early years where she appeared in a variety of theatre productions as well as on Broadway when she made her Broadway debut the latter on Wrong Mountain in 2000. Then, she was awarded the Connecticut Critics Circle Award in recognition of her role as The Glass Menagerie. Her next appearance on television was first starring in The Book Group, a British comedy-drama The Book Group. She's been an actor on diverse range of programs like Desperate Women, How I Met Your Mother, Friends, ER, Charmed Bodies Numb3rs and Six Feet Under. In addition, she portrayed Lucinda in the pilot episode for Psych. Then, she played a high school teacher with an affair with one of her students on Law & Order Criminal Intent. Dudek was then added to several frequent roles that began with the fourth season. She played Amber Volakis. Dr. Gregory House is considering the possibility of her being a permanent member on the medical team. The character of Amber Volakis was featured in the course of the show, but was finally killed off at the finale in House's Heart. House would later show her in a different model of herself in the fifth season episode Saviors. Dudek made an appearance on Mad Men, as the neighbor close to Francine Hanson. Also, she played the antagonistic wife of Alby Grant on Big Love. Both roles were regular. Dudek became a member of Covert Affairs in 2010, playing Danielle Brooks. She is the daughter of the main character. She played Tiffany Wilson, the cruise-line proprietor on White Chicks (2004 comedy) as well as Anthony Hopkins' daughter in The Human Stain.
